It's very easy to use and configure: in Hauptwerk you can just select the VST/AU link for audio output (you can optionally also select it for sequencer MIDI input/output).

Hauptwerk itself runs outside of your VST/AU host/sequencer and you just load the 'Hauptwerk VST/AU Link' in your sequencer. The Hauptwerk 3 Windows VSTi has been replaced with a new 'Hauptwerk VST Link' for Windows and OS X and a 'Hauptwerk AU Link' for OS X.
HAUPTWERK SAMPLE MIDI FILES HOW TO
i still get no output when i try to play back a midi file in logic.ĭoes anyone know how to get this to work? am i supposed to save a setting in the stand-alone and then paste something into the link?

however, i tried this, and all that happens is the sound changes and has a weird oscillating effect.
HAUPTWERK SAMPLE MIDI FILES MANUAL
I read in the hauptwerk manual that i need to run the stand-alone program, and choose au/vst link under general settings->audio outputs. there are a couple of buttons like copy, paste. However, with hauptwerk, when i select the instrument, i only get a tiny window that has nothing in it. this is how, for example, it works with pianoteq. then i can play it or record using a midi keyboard and play back a midi file.

With other virtual instrument plugins, i select the track, and on the left panel go down to i/o, choose the au instrument or whatever and a window pops up which lets me control the instrument. i'm trying to get a program called hauptwerk virtual pipe organ to work in logic. This might out of place here, but maybe someone uses this.
